Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH), 14-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Hickory advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to McDowell (Erie, PA) to play the Trojans in a Independent game on Friday, April 4. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 0-3. McDowell lost 16-8 in their recent non-league game against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA)

The Pirates now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton Central Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. Southeast will play a Crusaders team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-0.
