April 1, 2025: Laurel, MD 20707 The Laurel Spartans lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting Oxon Hill Clippers to 7 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wise for a challenge on Thursday, April 3. Laurel will clash with a Pumas squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Pumas record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Oxon Hill falls to 0-3 on the year. The Clippers host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Patuxent lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against La Plata (La Plata, MD)
