The Anderson Trojans overwhelmed the host Cedar Creek Eagles softball squad by a count of 33-16 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, April 4. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 5-0 league loss to Crockett (Austin, TX).

The Eagles (1-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Navarro (Austin, TX). The Vikings go into the 5A Region III District 24 challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Navarro was routed by Bastrop (Bastrop, TX), 19-1, in a league challenge.
