April 1, 2025: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), 9-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Scotch Plains-Fanwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 0-1. Cranford lost 8-2 in their recent league game against Dayton (Springfield, NJ)
The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Elizabeth for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. Brearley will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 21-2 league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-1.
