In Tuesday's non-league test, the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA), by a tally of 18-0.

Next, the Chiefs clash with the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) in a 5A District 1 test, on Wednesday, April 2. Natchitoches Central will attempt to advance on its 9-14 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 14-12 record after their 15-0 league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA).

The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record.
