April 1, 2025: Newark, NJ 07108 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ) and the host Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ), observed West Side's softball team get by Shabazz by a tally of 21-15.
The Roughriders (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Barringer tipped University (Newark, NJ), 21-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) in a SEC - Freedom bout, on Friday, April 11. Shabazz will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
