In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) baseball team trounced the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a count of 12-4.

The Eagles now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wauconda for a Northern Lake County challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Lakes will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-13 non-league win over Beech (Hendersonville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
