The Poly Bears softball squad (Riverside, CA), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA)

With the triumph, Capistrano Valley improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to face the Comanches in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 2. The Comanches enter the contest with a record of 10-6. Canyon won 15-1 in their recent non-league bout against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)

In their next game, the Bears battle the Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 2. Poly will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
