In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Ruston Bearcats softball team scored a close 10-9 win over the Pine Prairie Panthers.
Coming up next, the Bearcats battle the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 5. Ruston will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
