Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 15-7 in a league test.

With the win, Hicks upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a B District 7 test on Saturday, April 3. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 6-3.

With the defeat, Ascension Christian falls to 11-7 on the season. The travel to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) to battle the Cubs in a non-league test on Thursday, April 8. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 8-8.
