Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Lehighton defeats Catasauqua

April 2, 2022: Lehighton, PA 18235

Lehighton Indian (Lehighton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lehighton upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Indian host Pottsville (Pottsville, PA) to battle the Crimson Tide in a Schuylkill County 1 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a record of 2-1. Pottsville won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

With the defeat, Catasauqua falls to 2-2 on the season. The Rough riders travel to Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA) to battle the Lions in a Colonial test on Monday, April 4. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-1. Moravian Academy lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA)
