Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Salesianum upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sallies travel to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to battle the Auks in a non-league test on Thursday, April 7. The Auks come into the test with a record of 3-1. Archmere Academy won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE)

With the defeat, Delmar falls to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Laurel (Laurel, DE) to battle the Bulldogs in a Henlopen - Southern test on Tuesday, April 5.
