California High School Volleyball - Aspire Ollin edged by South Gate
April 2, 2022: South Gate, CA 90280 The South Gate Rams held off the visiting Aspire Ollin Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington Park for a Eastern test on Tuesday, April 5. South Gate will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South East (South Gate, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
The Jaguars (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Orthopaedic (Los Angeles, CA). The Vipers enter the Freeway test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Orthopaedic was nudged by University (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
