California High School Lacrosse - Galena can't get by Novato

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Novato Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Galena Grizzlies.

The Hornets now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Rafael for a Marin County test on Tuesday, April 12. Novato will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a HSLL test, on Friday, April 8. Galena will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
