West Virginia High School Softball - Woodrow Wilson bounces Meigs
April 2, 2022: Beckley, WV 25801 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) and the visiting Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), saw Woodrow Wilson's softball squad achieve victory over Meigs by a count of 12-3.
The Flying Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Charleston for a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. Woodrow Wilson will face a Black Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Meigs falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Marauders host Vinton County (McArthur, OH) to face the Vikings in a Tri-Valley - Ohio match on Wednesday, April 6. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 3-0.
