April 2, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers got by the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coal City for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 6. Joliet Catholic will face a Coalers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Wildcats face the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 3. Plainfield Central will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL).
