Tennessee High School Softball - Clinton nudges Cookeville
April 2, 2023: Cookeville, TN 38501 Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Halls for a non-league challenge on Sunday, April 2. Clinton will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Cookeville falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host White County (Sparta, TN) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. White County won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN)
