April 2, 2024: Independence, VA 24348 The Auburn Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Grayson County Blue Devils to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Rural Retreat ran past J.I. Burton (Norton, VA), 24-4, in a non-league match.
The Blue Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their match against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons go into the Mountain Empire match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, George Wythe was overwhelmed by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 13-3, in a league match.
