Georgia High School Baseball - Charlton County defeats McIntosh County Academy
April 2, 2024: Darien, GA 31305 Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Charlton County upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Atkinson County (Pearson, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 1A D-II Area 2 test on Monday, April 8. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 10-11. Atkinson County won 1-0 in their recent league test against Echols County (Statenville, GA)
With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy falls to 6-17 on the season. The Buccaneers host Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-11. Liberty County lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA)
