Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Franklin Flashes (Franklin, IL), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hatton upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Jackson (Jackson, OH) to battle the Ironman/Ironladies in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Ironman/Ironladies come into the test with a record of 1-1. Jackson lost 10-9 in their recent non-league test against Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH)
