Georgia High School Baseball - Oconee County holds off Locust Grove
April 2, 2024: Watkinsville, GA 30677 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) and the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), saw Oconee County's baseball squad knock off Locust Grove by a count of 8-4.
Coming up next, the Warriors play the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 3. Oconee County will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 16-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Cross Creek (Augusta, GA).
The Wildcats now possess a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 4. Locust Grove will play a Trojans squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Westlake (Atlanta, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-6.
