April 2, 2024: Piggott, AR 72454 The Manila Lions baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Piggott Mohawks to 1 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Colts go into the 3A Region 3 match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Rivercrest gained a win over Osceola (Osceola, AR), 7-0, in a league match.
The Mohawks (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Corning (Corning, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 3 match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Corning was overwhelmed by Rector (Rector, AR), 7-3, in a non-league match.
