Oregon High School Baseball - North Medford nips South Eugene
April 2, 2024: Medford, OR 97504 North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR), 8-7 in a league test.
With the win, North Medford upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Black Tornado travel to Willamette (Eugene, OR) to battle the Wolverines in a 6A Southwest test on Saturday, April 6. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 7-2. Willamette won 9-8 in their recent league test against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR)
With the defeat, South Eugene falls to 3-6 on the season. The Axe host Sheldon (Eugene, OR) to battle the Irish in a 6A Southwest test on Saturday, April 6. The Irish come into the test with a record of 4-6. Sheldon won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against West Salem (Salem, OR)
