April 2, 2024: Groton, CT 06340 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) lacrosse squad nipped the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), by a count of 5-4.
Coming up next, the Cadets confront the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) in a Fairfield County-East contest, on Saturday, April 6. St. Joseph will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT).
The Falcons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - I contest on Thursday, April 4. Fitch will confront a Centaurs squad coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 0-1.
