The Rockingham MudDogs lacrosse squad (Weyers Cave, VA), was overwhelmed 16-12 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA)

Coming up next, the Gryphons meet the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a VISAA Division 2 challenge, on Thursday, April 4. New Covenant will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bishops enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA).

The MudDogs now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Rockingham will meet a squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The record now stands at 14-19.
