Noble Bears (Noble, OK) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears confront the McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 5. Noble will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Duncan (Duncan, OK).

The Owls now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Fe South for a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, April 5. Elgin will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Choctaw (Choctaw, OK). The Saints record now stands at 10-1.
