Louisiana High School Softball - Beekman Charter bounces Sicily Island
April 2, 2024: Bastrop, LA 71220 Beekman Charter Tigers (Bastrop, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Vidalia for a 2A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Beekman Charter will face a Vikings squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-16.
With the loss, Sicily Island falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Block (Jonesville, LA) to face the Bears in a 1A District 4 challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 5-13.
