April 2, 2024: Shreveport, LA 71105 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) and the visiting Glenbrook Apaches (Minden, LA), witnessed Captain Shreve's softball squad prevail over Glenbrook by a count of 17-8.
The Gators now sport a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Northwood for a non-league match on Thursday, April 4. Captain Shreve will face a Falcons squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Sibley, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-13.
With the loss, Glenbrook moves to 14-12 on the season. The Apaches travel to Haynesville (Haynesville, LA) to face the Golden Tornado in a 1A District 1 match on Wednesday, April 3. The Golden Tornado go into the match with a record of 7-7.
