Texas High School Softball - New Deal nudges Hale Center
April 2, 2024: New Deal, TX 79350 New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX), 10-9 in a league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hale Center for a 2A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, April 5. New Deal will battle a Owls squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Owls record now stands at 4-7.
