Texas High School Softball - Magnolia West bounces Rudder
April 2, 2024: Bryan, TX 77808 Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX), 20-6 in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 17-12 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Creek for a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, April 5. Magnolia West will battle a Lions squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Lions record now stands at 23-6.
With the loss, Rudder falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to battle the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Cubs enter the challenge with a record of 15-12. Brenham lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX)
