In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Clover Blue Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Hillcrest Rams.

The Blue Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their game against York (York, SC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, York nudged Dreher (Columbia, SC), 17-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Rams play the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a 5A Region 1 game, on Friday, April 4. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 9-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC).
