April 2, 2025: Griswold, CT 06351 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) and the host Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), saw Woodstock Academy's baseball team gain a win over Griswold by a tally of 6-1.
The Centaurs (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Lyman Memorial was overwhelmed by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Griswold drops to 0-1 on the year. The Wolverines host Putnam (Putnam, CT) to clash with the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Clippers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Putnam lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT)
