The North Iberville Bears baseball squad (Rosedale, LA), was overwhelmed 24-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA)

With the triumph, Port Allen moves its record to 16-9 on the season. The Pelicans travel to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the in a 3A District 6 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The come into the contest with a record of 5-16.

The Bears (0-9) will now prepare for their outing against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A District 8 outing with a 17-7 record. In their last outing, Ascension Catholic achieved victory over White Castle (White Castle, LA), 19-3, in a league outing.
