April 2, 2025: Bedford, MA 01730 The Bedford Buccaneers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Newton South Lions to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westford Academy for a non-league test on Monday, April 7.
With the defeat, Newton South drops to 0-1 on the year. The Lions host Needham (Needham, MA) to play the Rockets in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 0-0.
