Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) and the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV), witnessed University's lacrosse squad hold off Morgantown by a count of 8-7.

The Hawks (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears enter the WVSLA - Division I contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Fairmont Senior was nipped by Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV), 18-5, in a league contest.

Next, the Mohigans meet the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 4. Morgantown will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 13-4 non-league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
