Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) followers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 12-0 in a league test.

The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Cape Fear thwarted Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 15-1, in a league test.

Next, the Trojans battle the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills test, on Thursday, April 3. Pine Forest will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 6-5 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC).
