April 2, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99516 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) and the host Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK), saw Wasilla's soccer squad knock off Grace Christian by a count of 4-1.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Match Summary
The Wasilla varsity boys played Grace today. Wasilla won 4-1, but not before getting caught sleeping early. Freshman center midfielder Ashton Bair scored the unassisted game tying goal with a blistering shot from outside the 18. Sophomore Zane Kroon captured the lead with a beautiful curling shot from outside assisted by Stephen Hastings. Talyn Hanson assisted Kolby Shumway on a perfectly timed pass far post. Zane assisted Stephen Hastings for the final goal. Zane was named the player of the match with his one goal and assist although it could have went to a few of the boys.
