April 2, 2025: Thomasville, NC 27360 The Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) softball nipped the host Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC), 15-14 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing on Friday, April 4. Albemarle will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-0.
With the loss, Thomasville moves to 1-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to encounter the Hornets in a Central Carolina 1A/2A outing on Friday, April 4. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 7-6. Salisbury won 18-6 in their recent non-league outing against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
