The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA) and the host Delaware County Christian Knights (Newtown Square, PA), observed Kennett's softball team prevail over Delaware County Christian by a tally of 16-1.

The Blue Demons (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Whippets go into the Ches-Mont bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Downingtown West knocked off Coatesville (Coatesville, PA), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Bristol Warriors (Bristol, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Delaware County Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ).
