In Wednesday's non-league test, the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ), by a tally of 25-14.

Next, the Golden Hawks meet the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 8. Desert Sunrise will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record.

The Demons (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Shadow Mountain was routed by Greenway (Phoenix, AZ), 19-0, in a league test.
