The Augusta Beavers baseball squad (Augusta, WI), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI)

With the triumph, Melrose-Mindoro moves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Independence/Gilmanton (Independence, WI) to confront the Indees in a Dairyland contest on Friday, May 1. The Indees come into the contest with a record of 1-7. Independence/Gilmanton lost 9-3 in their recent non-league outing against Bruce (Bruce, WI)
