The Chatham Central Bears baseball squad (Bear Creek, NC), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC)

With the triumph, Eastern Randolph moves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC) to confront the Mariners in a non-league contest on Monday, April 6. The Mariners enter the battle with a record of 10-3. East Carteret won 10-8 in their recent non-league battle against Croatan (Newport, NC)

Next, the Bears face the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 6. Chatham Central will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 12-2 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
