In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Towanda Knights softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Troy Trojans.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA). The Rams go into the Northern Tier - Large match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Wyalusing Valley gained a win over Liberty (Liberty, PA), 11-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Wellsboro Hornets (Wellsboro, PA) in a Northern Tier - Large match, on Friday, April 17. Troy will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Hornets go into the match with a 5-6 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, PA).
