Runnels Raiders (Baton Rouge, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), 11-0 in a league test.
With the win, Runnels upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Springhill (Springhill, LA) to battle the Lumberjacks in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Springfield falls to 3-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host Doyle (Livingston, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 2A District 7 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 16-6.
