The Mead Mavericks baseball team (Longmont, CO), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Monday's league outing with the host Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO)

The Warriors now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornton for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 5. Centaurus will confront a Trojans team coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.

Next, the Mavericks confront the Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) in a 4A/5A NCAC outing, on Monday, April 10. Mead will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Silver Creek (Longmont, CO).
