In Monday's non-league game, the host Lee County Yellow Jackets baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Harnett Central Trojans.

The Yellow Jackets (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the Sandhills 3A/4A game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Richmond tipped Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 9-3, in a league game.
