North Carolina High School Baseball - Shelby loses to East Rutherford
April 3, 2023: Shelby, NC 28152 The East Rutherford Cavaliers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Shelby Golden Lions to 2 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Monday.
The Cavaliers (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Hendersonville was overwhelmed by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Golden Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Kings Mountain gained a win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 11-5, in a non-league match.
