Rhode Island High School Baseball - Mount St. Charles Academy loses to Ponaganset
April 3, 2023: North Scituate, RI 02857 The Ponaganset Chieftains crushed the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Chieftains now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woonsocket for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 5. Ponaganset will face a Villa Novans team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Villa Novans record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Mounties face the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 6. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
