The North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) softball routed the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 11-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the Big South 3A bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, South Point notched a victory over Shelby (Shelby, NC), 21-11, in a non-league bout.
