Kansas High School Softball - Humboldt nudges Bluestem
April 3, 2023: Humboldt, KS 66748 Humboldt Cubs (Humboldt, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fredonia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. Humboldt will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 22-10 non-league win over Neodesha (Neodesha, KS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Bluestem falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Neodesha (Neodesha, KS) to battle the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Neodesha lost 22-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Fredonia (Fredonia, KS)
